The NAMIBIAN Constitution (from a Biblical Perspective)

About Namibia!

This is the word that came to me, from the Lord: “Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. I will shake this nation once more. I delight in rewriting your story and continually work in and through you to fulfil My good purpose. The glory of this present-day house will be greater than the glory of the previous house, say the Lord Almighty.”

The Lord wants to bless NAMIBIA, but He will not bless our sins!

NAMIBIA, the Lord says: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

The law serves many purposes. Four principal ones are establishing standards, maintaining order, resolving disputes, and protecting liberties and rights. God's moral law makes possible our continuing existence as spiritual beings in relation to Him and to our fellow beings. ¹⁹Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. ²⁰For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are (Romans 3:19-20).

God gave humanity the Bible to reveal His way of life—His way of love. The do’s and dont’s of the ten Commandments God gave on Mount Sinai to show us how to apply love in every aspect of life.

Jesus Christ summarized all of God’s laws in two great commandments. ³⁷”You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. ³⁸This is the first and great commandment. ³⁹And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ⁴⁰On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40). The ten Commandments of God augment on these two great commandments, with the first four commandments telling us how God wants to be loved, and the last six commandments showing how to demonstrate love for other people.

Jesus Christ died for souls, not for a system. When we truly accept and understand the love of God, our hearts and minds are transformed from a state of  “have to”, to “want to”, because of our love-relationship with Him.  John wrote: ³“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). Thus, we will persue obedience and keep His commandmants, because we love Him.

The Law, and this constitution, is a Gift of Grace.   ²⁴“Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith” (Galatians 3:24). ⁸“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8).
